Love em or hate em?

I'm going to my mils tomorrow. I hate going. All she does is interfere. I'm always the one in the wrong and dh is an angel!

Whenever we've had a tiff, it's automatically my fault. I get told to treat him better, make sure his dinner is on the table, hot, when he comes home from work.

Make sure his clothes are always washed and ironed and set out for him.

Give him a break from the kids (even though he's been at work all day and not seen them for about 10 hours!)

Agghh!! I only ever say something when I'm drunk. lol And then it's ignored as 'I wasn't being myself'. lol

I wish I was back in the US. I missed my family, but at least we never saw them! lol

Awww Kate. Poor you!

I think the man's mum is always the worst lol. Their little boy is always perfect, and their partner is corrupting him! lol

Did you live in the US? Where abouts? We're planning to move over there!

Looks like I'll have to either train as a nurse, or get rich lol. Or marry an American of course! lol

First try at a quote here lol.

I agree, the mans mum is much worse than the womans mum if I do say so myself. My dh gets on really well with my mum.

I used to live in Tampa, Florida. Loved it there! We went over on a work Visa and it expired late last year and our renewal was declined, Mad so we had to come back.

I'd love to move back over there. Where are you planning on going? I really hope you manage to get there. It's hard work, and it may not be possible. Nurses get the greencard almost straightaway though, so that's probably your best bet.

We're going to apply for an L1 again soon. Hope we can move back! bounce

I'm looking to move really close to there! Very Beach in Florida. Looks gorgeous! And cheap houses too lol.

Our only options are for me to train as a nurse, or dp to train as an engineer or something.

We're hoping to move in about 6 years, so with the training and the time it takes to get a visa, we'll need to start now! lol

Hey, if we both move there we can meet up and have a cuppa, in the sun, in december, by our pool! lol Laughing

Mine are alright, I think my partner should be more worried about my mother as his is a real sweet heart and very helpful when she is over here. I feel sorry for my partners sister though as her In-laws are a total nightmare, the best thing for her to do would be to move as far away from them as possible as they are so critical in everything she does and puts down her kids.
